GI Joe - General Hawk
I go by codename General Hawk. I am the one of the highest ranking officers in the GI Joe team. I have been around since the inception of the GI Joe team and I recruited many of the finest within the ranks of the team. I am a know nonsense staff officer and when addressed, I expect to be addressed as General Hawk or a simple salute followed by a sir will suffice.
I, General Hawk, graduated the top of my class at West Point. My family is known for their wealth, but that has not softened me in the least bit. In 1982, I was ranked an O-6, or for you non-military slugs, that would be a full bird Colonel. I lead many of the original missions for the G.I. Joe team and if you keep up like you should be with the current comic line, you will see that I am as active as ever.
General Hawk
General Hawk may come off as a bit cocky and demanding, but he certainly follows that up with a real knack for leadership, keen intelligence and the guts to get down and dirty with the rest of the GI Joe team and fight side-by-side against Cobra or any other terrorist organization that feels it wants to screw with the United States of America.
General Hawk did not show up until the second season of the Sunbow GI Joe cartoon, but he was the first character introduced in Marvel comics. He is a recurring character in the Devil's Due version of the GI Joe comic line.
The 25th Anniversary edition of General Hawk is excellent. The detail is very good as is the preservation of the original look.
