GI Joe - Gung Ho - Marine
Although I was not a Marine, I am quite fond of the GI Joe Gung Ho action figure. I guess every specialized counter terrorist unit needs a Marine within the ranks; ya know, for blowing things up and shooting everything that moves. We all have our purpose in life.
Gung Ho fills the role of the unit Marine for GI Joe and he does an excellent job if you keep up with all of the cartoon series and the new Resolute stuff that has come out.
I have both of the Gung Ho action figures available and enjoyed myself taking a few snap shots of them for you to take a look at. I am torn on my favorite Gung Ho version. I do like the original look quite a bit, but Hasbro has done a good job on the repaint; which is a more traditional olive drab green camouflage.
While posing these two figures, they did find themselves in a wrestling match against each other where they both attempted some of those secret Semper Fi Marine combat moves. It wasn't pretty but it had to be done.
